City & County HI5 recycling bins are available for Hawaii Schools to use for recycling drives. HI5 bins are a great tool to raise funds for your school and help educate the public on how easy and beneficial it is to recycle.
Your school can earn an additional $1000.00!!!
The Lex Brodie’s Tire Company Foundation will make a matching donation of up to $1,000.00 to the Oahu school that raises the most money from a HI5 recycling drive held between March 16th, 2011 and March 15th, 2012. The second place school will receive a $500.00 matching donation.
Winners will be announced in April, 2012.

1) To be eligible for matching funds, recycling drives must occur between March 16th, 2011 and March 15th, 2012.
2) The most productive fundraiser from each school will qualify.
3) Winners announced April, 2012. Winners will be contacted by Lex Brodie’s.
4) Any Oahu Hawaii school (public or private) is eligible to participate.
5) Recycling drives can only last a maximum of two (2) days to be eligible for matching funds.
6) The recycling companies weighing of bins will be considered final. No double counting.
7) To organize your school’s recycling drive, call 768-3200. Bin Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. Reservation forms are posted online at www.opala.org
8) Your school is automatically entered into the competition each time you reserve a HI5 bin for a 1-2 day collection event.
