Brittney's "Thank You...Very Much' Letter:
Dear Daddy,
Thank you for fighting for me and always wanting me. You are my true hero, because you never wanted to leave me. I am truly blessed to have a father like you, who was able to raise a little girl on his own.
I always reminisce about those times when I would sit and sing with you while you played your guitar. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have musical talent and passion for music. Daddy, because of you, I love playing basketball. I remember when you first tried to sign me up for basketball and failed the first time. Of course I said no because at the time I really liked soccer. But you never gave up and convinced me to give it a try and I did. Little did I know I would love it this much!
My faith is what strengthens me and helps me go on through my day. Thank you for raising me to love Jesus and to always trust in God. My faith is part of what makes me the person I am today.
It was so hard to write this letter because I didn’t know what to say. There are no words that could describe how thankful I am to have you in my life. But thank you daddy, for loving me unconditionally, for being my strength, and for always being there.
-Britt
