Leilani's "Thank You...Very Much" Letter:
Dear Mr. Nakayama,
On Homecoming Day, I had your class for the first period of the day. As you know, Homecoming Day was the worst day of my life. Seeing I was unhappy you asked, “What’s wrong?”. Everything was wrong. I felt heartbroken, confused and used. I didn’t know what to do. You helped me on so many levels that I had to thank you. Your job as a teacher has more meaning to me than any other teacher. Aside from academics, you care for your students well-being. Just being there for me means a whole lot. So continue caring with your kind heart and helping kids and don’t ever change!
Thank You,
Leilani
