My husband tried to replace a broken brake light part and caused my brakes to lock up. I managed to force the brakes to release and got to Lex Brodie's in Kaneohe, right at 6pm. Even though they were closed, Kyle got one of the mechanics (sorry - didn't get his name!) to take a look at the brake pedal. He checked it and got the brake to unfreeze, & said they could work on it the next morning. I carefully drove it home and brought it back the next evening when my husband could give me a ride back home. They let me leave it overnight to work on the next morning. My car was ready to pick up the next morning, but my the oil dipstick was missing, and they said it a replacement would cost $50. Firestone did the car's last oil/filter change in Nov. 2020, and the Acura dealership had just worked on an oil leak from the main gasket within the last month, so I checked with both companies. Acura had the dipstick, so after they brought it to me before the close of business, I brought it with me to Lex Brodie's. Kyle was nice enough to pop it back in place, and the labor for repositioning the brake part was a reasonable $50. Couldn't be happier with their service!
