Tire service was outstanding! Really appreciate being able to come in w/o an appt & get worked into the schedule when one of my tires suddenly developed a leak. They patched the tire, rotated them & refreshed all the sidewalls - All 4 of them look new now! All covered under the warranty on top of having a comfortable place to wait. Way better than waiting at Costco, plus there's fresh brewed (good!) complimentary coffee! Couldn't ask for any more in terms of Tire service. Great service by the sales associate. I came in to but two new tires, change oil and a safety check. During their inspection they looked at my brake pads and noticed that the frost was running low which I was wanting to have it checked and also my battery which I haven't changed since I purchased my car which was years ago! Mahalo for making my car safe for my grand baby!

We all know the stereotypical mechanic experience. The unknowledgeable female drops off a vehicle for service and god knows how much in unneeded repairs later, she goes home none the wiser. Despite being a repeat customer at Lex Brodie's Aiea location and having nothing but good experiences, I had never been to this location before, but its proximity to my office and the fact that there was zero rail construction to deal with had me choosing this location. I dropped my car off at 8:30am for an oil change and for them to check my brakes after a warning light came on in my vehicle. Sadly I don't remember the person's name who was helping me, but after checking the actual brakes, it was determined that the brakes themselves were not the issue. He called me to explain this, and advised that I had the option of diagnostic testing and explained the price, etc. I authorized the testing since I wasn't sure what was up with my car, and unfortunately it's a bigger issue than what they're able to fix. What impressed me more than anything is the fact that: 1. After realizing that they didn't have the capacity to fix my car, the diagnostic fee was waived. 2. They didn't pretend to know how to fix something they can't and referred me right back out to Toyota to ensure my vehicle is properly repaired. 3. They didn't suggest any unnecessary repairs despite basically having carte blanche to tell me anything and I likely would have thrown money at them. In a world where places like Lex Brodie's competitors will try to get every nickel and dime out of anyone who walks in their doors, it's nice to see that Lex Brodie's is the type of business that values their customers and hires employees with integrity at all locations. I will for sure continue to exclusively use Lex Brodie's for all of my auto care needs.

My visit started with the website; which was very user friendly, followed by phone call inquiry to replace a really bad tire. Mandy was enthusiastic, friendly and easy to talk to. In today's world, people often forget that small jokes and an honest laugh ARE acceptable in business relations. Mandy still knows this and still stayed on topic. her approach/joke actually made me feel less stupid about my situation. Upon visitation, i was acknowledged instantly, along with my 4yr old daughter who is often sneered at with a fake smile. Formerly in retail, I get it, but this Team gave my daughter a chance before judging her. After waiting for my turn, Zach helped me continue where Mandy left off. He also paid attention to my concerns, made suggestions that backed up Mandy's ideas, which was more comforting. I mentioned at the price, I could only afford 2 tires but wanted them to tell me which ones i should replace. Without hesitation or agitation on that very hot afternoon, he walked out with me to the car, and thoroughly looked over my tires. even told me things I didn't realize about my existing. Explained the best place to put the tires and why. In the end, my car was completed faster than expected. i needed to grab something from my car and the mechanic kindly asked if i paid yet. No attitude, no judgement that i was trying to sneak off, and even made me daughter laugh =) I would never hesitate to go back or suggest them to anyone, friend or foe!
