These guys are awesome. Had an appointment at 12 noon came in early, dropped off our 2014 CRV for an oil change and safety check. The guy says 1 1/2 hours . Ok, I can walk to Pearlridge and cruise there. I did just that until I was chased out by a fire alarm. Got back right at 1:30. Car not done, ok, I can check my phone for another 1/2 hour. I did but no car yet. When I checked back the reception girls were a little snippy -1 star, but a manager jumped right in and ran back to check on my car. And he said that the delay was they were double checking on my battery. It was showing a critical need to replace. Unusual for such a new car with such low mileage. He kept right on updating me as I waited, and recommended I check with my dealer to replace the battery. It should still be under warranty, it was. Great service and value, if the reception girls were a little nicer it would have been 5 stars.

Snippy is not good or okay with us. We pride ourselves on the best customer service. Do you remember a name? Please accept our apologies and also know we appreciate your business. We want everyone to leave feeling like they have been valued.

My tire was making a sound so I took my car to get check up. After couple hours the guy told me it would be about $450 without much explanation so I told him I will think about it. I called them back later if there was any cheaper. Jeff told me he doesn't know until he look at it although I already got an estimate. And he told me he is off Monday Tuesday but he refer me to look for Kuper. So I went back there and looked for Kuper who told me to come back since Jeff was off but I told him if he can have a look, after couple hours he told me it would cost only $269 this time. I am not sure why the first guy was tried to rip off. Anyway Kuper told me he can't help me that day told me to come back on Wednesday if I want to fix my car so I asked him if I need to make an appointment because I need to go to work by noon. He told me " no need to make an appointment NO PROBLEMS" So I went back there on Wednesday at 7am I looked for Jeff who seems tired and not helpful he took my info and he said it will be done by Wednesday so I told him I need to go to work so if he has any clue that it could be done by noon? Otherwise I'd rather comeback next time but he repeated I don't know three times. So I went to talked to a girl she seemed helpful and nice the only reason I am giving a star is for the ladies who works there. She told me it shoul be done by noon. However it wasn't but it was okay because they offered rent a car although I would preferred my car to be done. Finally I went back there to pick up my car today Jeff+Kuper told me it was $269 plus tax but there was some kind of additional part fee which wasn't much but I question them because it wasn't the same from what they told me Jeff became very rude and made a sound like you don't know anything. And he said to me. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. What is that ??????? I felt like he was picking up a flight with me. Yeah this was my experience. Very rude Jeff and rip off company.

One of our strong points, is that customers always mention, how friendly and helpful our team is. (And Jim is famous for being one of the best and most consistent. Not sure why this day was different, but we'll look into more with him.)For the price of the job concern; we try to be very transparent, and part of that policy, we have a web tool called "Repair Pal" which is an online repair estimator that is used and referred to by AARP and Cars.com. We have this tool on our website! Found at; lexbrodies.com/brake_serThis tool has your service at $208 to $272, these prices would be (in most cases) a 1 year warranty and could have lower quality parts to premium parts (lower end of the price range is for the lower end parts). Our price is $269, which includes premium brake parts and LIFETIME warranty for parts and labored for the brake pads (some shop offer Lifetime on the pads only, then you pay "substantial" labor charges when they get warrantied.)Please see what that tool mentions on the rotors as well (which we first had recommended as "Preventative Maintenance")... it states; " While it's a safe practice to use rotors worn or machined to the manufacture's minimum specification, brake pedal pulsation is more likely to occur with thinner rotors. If your vehicle is prone to brake pedal pulsation issues, you may be better off replacing worn rotors than re-machining them."Unfortunately, Hawaii's stop and go driving frequently lead to brake pulsations. When you reuse the rotors, they continue to wear and commonly can cause a pulsation (It is true, this is more an issue for the front then the rear).Our team recommended the rotors in the first estimate, for the reason of insuring a long while before the rear brakes would need to be addressed. The repair pal quote, with rotors, is $273 to $372 (again, 1 year warranty and lowered end price is with lower quality parts). Our price was $376.27... once again, with Lifetime Warranty for the pads (parts AND labor). I found our quote from the 4/25/16 visit.The additional "parts" I believe may have been the "shop fees", We apologize for our team member not adding that into the quote. (Sometimes it's left out similar to how the tax is left out on many quotes). Happy to see our team offered the free car rental when the time concern was stressed (Please note, the car rental cost us about $40; shops at the lower price range will not make these accommodations to help serve their customers).PLUS, we have a free to join Customer Rewards program where our customers can earn miles! Once again, I/we are very sorry for the frustrating visit. And we can understand your viewpoint and will share your experience with our team...We hope that with the additional explanation, the awesome value of our Fixed Forever Reline is realized (this is the price I pay for brake service! Even as an officer of the company... since it's the best value! It's better than me paying employee price today and then again down the road when the brakes wear out again! The Fixed Forever Warranty, parts AND labor for the pads... is really terrific value and offer!)."Thank You... Please send your invoice number to [email protected] , along with any additional information you would like to share. It sounds like brake work was done (based on price quote), seems that a rough estimate was given at the beginning (leaning on the higher side of a quote). But once inspected, found that less was needed (such as the brake rotors being reusable). Our team doesn't get paid commissions and techs are hourly, so there is no incentive for our team to recommend anything they don't feel is needed. But, human error is always a possibility, thus we truly would like to look into for you. For the extra charges, they sound like maybe our shop fees (which we have posted up), but I'll look into that as well. Please except our apologies for frustrating visit. We complexly understand that time is our #1 asset and no one like it's wasted. We truly appreciate your time sharing your feedback as well for allowing us to serve you. The 2 ladies at the front counter were very efficient checking me in for tire balancing and wheel alignment. The job was completed while I waited. I was distressed to find that the mechanics threw away the new protective paper on the floor of my driver's side and did not replace it with one from Lex Brodie. I asked one of the mechanics for another paper and got a thin flimsy one. I did not see the oil spot on the carpet on the driver's side until I got home. I was too tired to return to Lex Brodie to ask to have the oil stain removed so I used Simple Green to clean the carpet myself. Next time I come in I will be sure to ask that the mechanics make sure to have protective paper on my carpet to prevent oil stains from work boots.

Cooper the assistant manager at Lex Brodie's Honolulu was awesome and provided excellent service. He was kind, curteous and very knowledgeable . I was treated very well by everyone. I felt like a King! I'm so happy that they found my tie rod and rack and pinion needed repair. My car drives better and I feel safer now. I highly recommend Lex Brodie's to everyone because they don't only do tires but repairs also and with a smile. I'm truly a happy customer. Thank you Lex Brodie's Honolulu you're da bomb!

To the time when I first pulled up to the time when I pulled out, I received excellent service. Once I parked my car, Rob (I believe that was his name) came up to me and asked why I was there, asked for the mileage (I was doing a safety check) and paperwork for the car. They were nice and friendly. Informed me of how long it would take, showed me where the lobby/waiting area was and would update me if anything changed. They were efficient and even sent an emailed report. I love how I set up the appointment online and didn't have to wait for the next day when they were open to call and set it up. It was very convenient and I liked the ease of the mobile site that I was using. Overall, great service along with great customer service.
