After AAA changed my flat tire we headed over to Lex Brodie .... Mike Rizzo greeted us and after he checked everything out he said he would be in contact regarding some of the issues they were going to check ... he called us within the half hour and I gave him the okay to do all the service we needed - he was nice enough to give us the applicable online coupon discounts, change my spare to a larger tire, and was patient enough to answer some questions I had regarding trading in my car and transmissions - he and Darshelle were AWESOME !! .... and my car was ready in less than two hours.Mahalo Lex Brodie for always taking care of us !!!

Took advantage of a groupon deal to get an oil change (bio-based synthetic oil change to be specific). Got a same-day appointment on a work holiday for me. Works for me! Caveat: I'm used to getting relatively quick service at Jiffy Lube, so I had to prepare myself for the estimated 1.5-2-hour wait for an oil change (accurate estimate by the way). The people also did a basic check of fluid levels etc.; they noticed that my air filter needed replacement, so they offered to do so for the cost of the part with no added labor (good!). There's a waiting lounge with TV, magazines, AC, but I opted for one of the chairs in the garage area. I observed their seemingly efficient and organized operations in the garage, with customers checking in with their cars and employees staging and prioritizing work on the cars. So I would go back for auto maintenance and repair services - hopefully not too soon with my reliable car!

Yes, I got the old screw in the tire scenario while dropping off one kid to school. I made it over to Lex Brodie's with my four year old in route with me. The initial guy told me it would be a short wait while they fixed it. I played with my 4 year old in an air conditioned room with a TV while we waited a very short time. A smiling lady told me our car was ready and that it was free to fix since I had bought my tires there. What started out as a very cruddy situation ended up great with very helpful, smily people! Thanks!

awwweeesoomme..No complaints about this place. Took my ride in for an oil change. Not because I'm lazy, but because I'm too busy, and don't have the parts to do it myself. Or maybe the busy is just an excuse for the laziness. Either way, service was great, dropped it off and got a call back a few hours later telling me it was ready for pick up. When i picked it up the cashier also notified me that my air filter could be cleaned, and explained how they did other free diagnostic tests which would be beneficial to me in the future to know of anything that i might need to have serviced or repaired. I think most other places would charge a fee for this type of thing.Great prices!THANKS for the service lex brodies! Hopefully i wont have to pay you a visit anytime soon, but your my new go to car service and repair shop!

Ick don't get your safety check here. I waited over an hour and a half for them to tell me to change two tires. I also had an appointment to change my tires and told them that, but no deals.Bleh. No tags. 2 hours of my time wasted. It's still $15 like other places that will do it in 15 min. or less! Granted, yes one of the tires (I was told at Firestone -- they are genuinely nice here) needed to be changed and the other they recommended be changed soon.I also waited in the waiting area for a bit and other customers looked like they were waiting for a long time and some looked disgruntled getting up every 15 min to check with a worker. I was told someone would get me when it was done, but when I saw my car out on the lot, I went to ask someone if it was done. They said YES. So I wonder how long I would have waited if I wasn't watching!I ate the bucks at LB's and went to Firestone (See my happier review there) to get two tires and a saftey. They were much friendlier there and more honest. Lex Brodie's: your 1+ hour "more comprehensive" (as I was told) safety check takes too long. I agree one tire was worn, but I would have rather been told in the first 5 min. like it would be at another station.

Aloha Beth,We are sincerely sorry about the disappointing experience. Unfortunately, many shops have not followed the proper safety check procedures for years and many folks simply expect a quick safety check which isn't really a "safety check", rather a quick flashing of the lights and then a collection of the set fee. Most shops refuse to do the proper inspections since the fee doesn't cover the actual labor cost to perform the proper inspection. We feel we need to be confident that our customer's vehicles are safe when they leave, so we actually remove the wheels and perform a visual inspection of the brakes and suspension; most shops do not do this or will charge extra for the inspection. Since we jack up and remove the tires, the average waiting time for the safety check is about an hour and half. We are working on a hand out to present to customers that will explain what we perform in a safety check and why it takes a bit of time. When customer realize what they are receiving for the nominal fee; the depth of the inspection and amount of labor involved, most customers realize that the $14.70 for the safety check is a deal and are happy to know that the components tied into their vehicles safety have been properly checked out and are in good working order. It's better to find potential safety problems before they actually become a safety issue. This is the true intend of the State Safety Inspections. We are very sorry that we did not do a better job communicating with you on the process of your vehicle's inspection; we are currently taking steps to fine tune this process. Could you please share with me your invoice number and confirm it has your correct e-mail address? I would like to mail you a gift card in appreciation of your feedback which we value to help us improve.Warm Regards & "TY...VM!"Scott

No one is perfect, and neither was my first experience at LB's. But I still give this place 5-stars for their diligence in making things right.I brought my car in for a basic oil change. Unfortunately, the mechanics had somehow missed my car and the oil change was never completed. The manager promptly offered to do it within 30 mins, but I had to leave for work. I later sent an email via the LB website and received an apology directly from LB's President, Scott Williams. They quickly rescheduled my car for a complimentary oil change and cleaned the interior of my car. Mike Rizzo, manager, was very accomodating. LB's found that my tires and alignment needed to be fixed and provided me a discount for the service. They even offer complimentary car rental if the car needs to stay overnight. So awesome! Scott Williams and the LB's staff went above and beyond to help make things better. I always visit LB's instead of going to my car dealership. Great service and the prices are reasonable even without the discount.I highly recommend this place!
