Lex Brodies was much more helpful than Firestone down the road even though we had been a loyal customer of Firestone's. We were caught in the middle of some major finger pointing with Lex fixing the power steering pump but that didnt solve the problem, instead it was of their opinion that it was the rack that was no good (which was under warranty at Firestone). So we had it towed to Firestone telling them to change the rack but they refused because they said it was the pump (but how could that be because we just got it changed at Lex) so I asked them again to inspect it and were they sure it was not the rack because that was what Lex was saying it was. Of course when they reinspected it, they said it was now the reservoir, so we tow it BACK to Lex, they order and change that part (for free labor and the part was at cost no mark up, thank you very much) and it STILL does not solve the problem. Lex then talked to Firestone directly (so as not to keep putting us in the middle of the problem), had Firestone tow the car to their place and change the rack. Yes, that solved the problem. How frustrating it was for us to go back and forth but thank you to Lex Brodie for putting customers first, unlike Firestone. We appreciate all the help that Barney, Mel, Rolando, Eddie and the rest of the staff offered to us!
