Good, honest, and a great value for my safety check. I'm not giving 5 stars because it took 1.5 hrs instead of the 45 min to an hr that they told me. But I got the feeling they were very thorough.

LB eventually won me back!Flat tire. Took it to Brodie. Friendly, fast, reasonable.Only prob was within a week, said tire was flat as a pancake again. Back to Brodie I went. Same fast and friendly service; no charge for correcting a prob that they didn't correct the first time.Only prob was the next day the pancake look came back. So back to Brodie. This time asked for the mgr who gave me fast and friendly service. This time they replace the bad tire with a brand new one. Anticipating that this would be the case, the instructed said mgr to put the newly purchased tire on my spare and to use the spare as my actual tire. My spare was a full sized tire and matched (Goodyear) the existing 3 tires. The newly purchased tire was not a Goodyear.Got my car minutes before Brodie closed. Newly purchased tire was in the car, spare Goodyear was back in the trunk. Odd ball anyone.To heck if was going to make a 4th visit to Brodie. I completed a Brodie survey card and expressed my displeasure. Scott Williams, LB prez, wrote back, apologized and promised to make good. Brodie sent over a tech to get my car, did the job right, and returned my car. All is good in pancake, oddball land.Mistakes happen. LB didn't make any excuses; they just apologized and removed the inconvenience factor as they fixed the prob. 4 stars because it took 4 attempts to get it right. Otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars.TY......VM.

I've been going to this Lex Brodie's @ Pearlridge since 2009 for regular service maintenance on my 2008 Nissan Pathfinder. Their customer service has always been great, thus my continuing to go to them for 3 years. I recently went there for a 60,000k maintenance and had unknowingly locked the car with my remote (key had been left with attendant) after removing some items from it, jumped into my husband's car and left for our next destination. I received a call from Freddie about 15 minutes later asking where I was since they could not get into my car - the key was in the ignition and the doors were locked. I felt so bad, we were on the freeway headed to Kaimuki. I was about to tell Freddie that I'll get the service done another time, but before I could, he said "no problem, I'll send someone out to meet you at your destination". Talk about relief! The driver who arrived 20 minutes later was friendly and courteous. Thank you Allen and Freddie and the girl (sorry, I didn't get your name) who settled my bill and told me about the AAA discount which saved me $50! Can't beat that for going out of your way to make the customer happy....To add to this review, my Service Engine Soon Light came on yesterday and I called Freddie who said to bring it in and they'll check it since I had just been there on Saturday for the 60k service. (The dealer had said they would charge me $95 to see what caused the light to go on.) I took my car in today, expecting it to take about an hour, and Freddie said he could do it now. Within 10 minutes he handed me the paper showing what the code diagnosis was and told me to show that to the dealer when I took my car in to repair the windshield reservoir leak they discovered, which was covered under the extended warranty I had purchased.Thank you Freddie and the whole friendly staff at Lex Brodie's Pearlridge for the superb customer service you always provide. This is one VERY SATISFIED customer who will continue to return for regular service and am working on my husband so he will start bringing his truck there, too!!

I would recommend this LEX BRODIES location. There customer service is great. First time I went there to replace my flat tire a guy DEN was very informative and helpful. He also offered to give me a discount card for $10, which would help in the future because it gives you "Instant Benefits: 105 off Mechanical Services w/$50 maximum, $50 off 4 installed Tires or $12.50 off per installed Tire" Only thing, its not combinable with other offers, (which is COMMON SENSE though, if you are reading this) because you are already recieving a discounted price.Also this location has a great waiting area, with a TV, includes magazines to read, and a Coffee area (not that I drink, but for you others). While waiting, you can also go to pearlridge because they are directly across and the worker will give you a call. After my first experience, I have always been coming here even if I am in Kalihi, I just really like their service and attitude. I come here probably every 3-5 months to check my tires and brakes. Like such, for today 6/28/12 I came in to have them check on a squeaking/grinding noise on my front tires. I thought it was the brake pads, but it wasn't. Freddie the guy who looked at my car told me it was my rotor, caliper, and brake pads. Unfortunately, my brake pads was worn out (necessarily meaning gone!) on my left front tire. I asked if I could just get an estimate on the replacement and parts, and he kindly did it for me. However, the price was crazy HIGH!!! (not in a bad way). [[[This car is not mine, its actually my boyfriend's,but I just say mine here because it's easier to write]]]] He also answered all my questions, which was helpful for me. I had to confirm the HIGH price of $750 with my boyfriend because I didn't know if I should do it now or later. Unfortunately, he did say NO because of the price, but he would have said YES if LEX BRODIES could only change one side. Though, the case is LEX BRODIES only have parts in pairs (it's like purchasing shoes). Freddie told me if one side is only changed their might be a chance the brake might lock up (I don't if that's true, but it seems true). Since my boyfriend didn't like the price, he told me to just ask my uncle, who is a mechanic. Definitely it was cheaper with my uncle because he has a home business and can get parts at discounted price. At least I was glad Freddie was OK with this when I told him because he also said it's good my uncle can fix it.With the check-up that Lex Brodies did today on the car and in the past, I thank you guys!!!!

I've been looking for a new regular maintenance shop after indifferent customer service from my dealer. First problem is too many people, literally one person checks you in, another gives you the paperwork and another takes payment and never do you see let alone talk to the mechanic. Fate stepped in with squeaky brakes on my way home - dreading the hassle of calling, dropping off, shuttles, etc. - when I saw Lex Brodie's on Nimitz. Nearing closing they nonetheless put car up on the rack, removed tires, found a loose piece, sanded it a bit, said it was fine, returned tires, all in under 30 minutes, and said no charge. What??? Oustanding customer service from the desk person to the technician - and not the so-called customer agent as before - explained it. The dealers staff act like they're serving time, Lex Brodie's acts like ohana.I have my new maintenance shop. I'd heard good things about the service in the past but now I've seen it first hand.

I applaud you for hiring the younger boys to give them experience and a chance in working with the public but these two should to be taught what customer service is. "I don't know" is not an answer and they should acknowledge customers who come through their doors, not still sit there, no eye contact and basically dismiss the customers question by saying "I don't know".
