Very satisfied with the customer service experience and repair outcome on my squeaky brakes on my 2006 Acura TSX. Called and provided same day appointment availability so took one at 1200. Also scheduled safety inspection, tire rotation, and Multi-point inspection. Was called with mechanic's findings after checking rotors and pads. Made a decision based on recommendations and prices. Was called after job was finished and the brakes are quiet and work smoothly. Overall experience was positive and I'll be back. If I had a constructive observation, it would be to improve the customer waiting area.

"Thank You... Very Much!" for the detailed feedback and for allowing us to serve you. Please take care and drive safely! Scott D Williams President

Got a 2 HOUR oil change yesterday. When I called to make the first appt. the gal on the phone told me it would take an hour since its the first appointment. When I got there they told me an hour and a half. When I returned at an hour half they told me my car was on the rack and it would be another half hour wait. Instead of apologizing, the older gentleman made a snide remark, saying ,"Oh, everybody wants a 20 minute oil change." And when I told him I've been waiting 90 minutes he says, "oh. Has it been an hour and a half already?" Seriously??!!! I am a returning customer since my first visit went so well, but now I will have to find someone else to change my oil.

Aloha and "Thank You... Very Much!" for your feedback. I/we sincerely apologize for missing our promised time. We understand and know that our customers' time is their most valuable asset. Being the first appointment (as long as no unexpected problems arise), the oil change should have been completed in the hour promised. We normally, even with the appointment, recommend quoting 1 to 1 1/2 hours since we pull the tires and check the brakes, test the battery and perform AAA Hawaii's 38 point inspection that is designed to help prevent break downs. These processes take time (most oil changes will not check the brakes, and very, very few do the AAA 38 point inspection.) All that said, the hour was doable and if it was quoted, that promise needed to be fulfilled. If the promise time is missed, a sincere apology and our Completion Time Promise would apply, which discounts the customers invoice by $2 for every 5 minutes we miss our promised time (with a $35 max which is where we would offer our customer a free day's rental car). So, for the hour we kept your car over the target time, we'll refund you $24 (almost 1/2 off the oil change). Please send me/us your invoice number so I can pull your paperwork and we can process the refund. I can be reached at [email protected] We will also send you a gift card for the next oil change to be no charge. "Thank You...Very Much!" for allowing us to serve you. Sincerely, Scott D Williams President PS - are you aware of the awesome oil we use? G-Oil; it's 100% synthetic and 100% earth friendly biodegradable. It also offers an extended interval of 6 months or 7500 miles, so for most vehicles, that's a twice a year service. Yes, the oil changes we do take a little longer than the fast lubes, but they save you time over all, use a superior full synthetic G-Oil, help prevent breakdowns and reduce your impact on the environment. Currently, no one else offers this service in Hawaii. And, we sell the Full Synthetic oil change at $49.99 where most shops would charge close to $90 (and up, without the extended interval!)

Lex Brodie's has gone down in quality and customer service the past few years. It started a few years ago with they sold us 4 oversized tires. The front tires made a horrible grinding noise whenever we made a turn because the front tires would rub the inside of the fenders as we turned. The rear tires make a terrible scraping noise whenever we hit a bump because they scrape the inside of the rear fenders. Then yesterday, when I took a front tire to get a flat fixed, the employee kept telling me that they had no record of a previous flat repair, even though I was showing him an original receipt. I finally told him,"I'm not making this up. This receipt is real." Then he tried to sell me a new tire instead of fixing the flat. A new tire would have cost me about $130, after a "discount." I refused. Well, they "fixed" the flat alright -- so well, in fact, that it was flat again this morning! Today being Sunday, Lex is CLOSED! That means we could not use the car all day, and I have to take off work tomorrow to get the flat fixed, again. Well, I'm NOT going back there. EVER. They have proven to be incompetent idiots too much lately. I'll get my tires elsewhere from now on.

"Thank You... Very Much!" for the feedback. First, I need to point out, we are open on Sundays and would have been very happy to assist you on Sunday. I/we sincerely apologize for the flat tire issue. What did they find the next morning? Did you have to replace (as we first mentioned)? Or was it a repair, stem or bead issue? Also, I would like more info (so that I can research this) on the first mentioned incident. Were they aftermarket wheels? Were we changing the size to a proper size that didn't fit on a modified vehicle? Any past accidents? Tires rubbing is a very rare issue, normally it happens after accidents or when a vehicle has been modified. I/we are very eager to learn more about your incidents so that we can learn from them and make things right for you. My email is [email protected], it's easiest and best to e-mail me there. "Thank You...Very Much!" Sincerely, Scott D Williams President

I took my car in to check a low tire pressure. I was surprised how fast the service was and how courteous the personnel was. Thanks!

Ok updated review from my poor review I gave them earlier. They finally seemed to have found the problem, but it took almost a week long. They paid for my rental which I did appreciate, but as soon as I picked up my truck, the engine light was still on!!! Fml! Although the customer service is top notch and the techs are super friendly, the actual troubleshooting and repair service is poor. So I called justin and turned right back around and now im back waiting again. I dont know what happened in my case, but I would still recommend this place for small, simple services; but not for big service jobs. If you ever need to come here, see justin.

Aloha Ms Lisa, I/we are very thankful you chose us to help you. We are not happy until you're happy. Please send me your invoice number(s) so we can look into your visit with you. I would also like to have our VP of mechanical Services meet with you to go over your concern and remaining run ability problem. Like a "Family Doctor", we don't fix/treat everything. There are times where we will send customers to the dealer for heavy engine or transmission repairs when using a specialist is appropriate. But, we are able to assist our customers with most of the services they might need, normally at a much more convenient and more affordable rate. I/we would like to review your visit and vehicle. Again, we want only happy customers! We are very much on our customers' side to make sure they are treated fairly. Please send me your invoice number and if and when we can inspect your vehicle again. We would be happy to put you in an Enterprise rental at no charge if needed as well. Please contact me at [email protected] "Thank You... Very Much!" Scott D Williams President"

Dear Lex Brodie, please stop taking advantage of me :( I came in for a brake check and trusted that I would be given an estimate of the repairs required. My estimate came back at $1568.00. Completely shocked by the price, I had to go back and pick up my car until such time as I could afford the repair. I happened to show the invoice to a certified mechanic friend who has been in the business over forty years and he was angered at the blatant and unnecessary add-on's to a simple brake pad replacement. Yes, he did check the brakes for me as well and concluded that the pads did indeed need to be replaced but that was all. Everything else was in good condition and I did not need a complete brake overhaul..$473.00, CV Boot replacement..$318.00, Inner tied rod assembly..$332.00 etc, etc, etc....sigh...I trusted you Lex Brodies..sadly no more and I won't return and I will absolutely let everyone I know how you tried to scam me into extraneous services. Auwe! Shame on you! ..A once loyal customer, but no more.

Aloha, Thank You...Very Much for sharing your feedback. We are very carefull to not recommend items that are not needed. So, if this happened, we want to know so we can see what happened (training issue? ). We don't
