3.5 stars I think, Ended up coming back for a safety check a year later, definitely better service. The wait was still a bit long, but much improved. I never expected it to be this smooth, overall I was happy with everything, Good job to Lex Brodie's.
Aloha and thank you for your feedback. We listen to, and value our customers feedback and point of view tramedously! We are also very careful to not recommend anything that is not needed or recommended by the vehicles manufacturer. We even have a Lex Brodie's Customer Bill of Rights that clearly states this (please visit lexbrodies.com to view the entire Customer Bill of Right). Please note, sometimes customers will be annoyed by a service shops recommendations during a routine maintenance visit; but please realize that MOST of the recommendations will be made based on a Preventative Maintenance basis which means they are recommended by the industry or your vehicles manufacturer to insure long wear and life of your vehicle and it's components as well as minimizing surprise vehicle breakdowns. It's like if someone went to their doctor and they didn't notify them of a health concern but later they became very sick; the patient would be very upset they were not notified how they could have avoided the issue. Kind of like a flu shot; recommended for most during flu season. Many get the shot that would have never gotten sick even if they didn't get the shot. But, MANY who did avoided the sickness! But those who decided to not get the shot, but then got sick... know it was their choice, not that they were not informed or misinformed. We have a STRONG policy against recommending something that is not needed. And our team does not work on flat rate or by commission basis so there is NO incentive to recommend anything that is not need or recommended. But mistakes can be made. And if we are in error, we want to know so we can make things right and take steps to train to prevent a reoccurrence. And, if everything was properly recommended, then we see we need to improve how we educate the customer on why things are recommended. Please e-mail me your invoice numbers in concern at [email protected] and I'll personally look into your concern and will respond in a very timely fashion. Thank You... Very Much! Scott. Also, please note; if unhooking the battery reset the Check Engine light, that would not solve the cause of why the light went on. Clearing the code sometimes leads to more complicated issues in the future that could have been caught early on. An engine diagnostic is much more than just hooking up a scanner and pulling codes. We have a great article we found in a Google search that we can send that describes Engine Diagnostic and all it entails. Best, Scott Williams, President
