Lex Brodies tire company has been a blessing for me this morning. I drive a sporty Honda civic, that requires expensive Z size tires to fit the rims on my car. After going to Costco and being quoted $450 for 2 tires, I decided to heed the advice from a dear friend who regularly brings his car in to lex brodies. Note: I always get the feeling I'm being taken advantage of when bringing my car to auto shops for servicing due to my lack of knowledge with cars. So I was very apprehensive about bringing my car to lex brodies. I am currently sitting in their comfy lounge as they work on my car. I am super pleased with the service provided by the kind aunties that are at the gas pump. One of them gave me a $25 off card when I mentioned I was gonna get new tires. I have to also recognize the comfortable and welcoming service provided by Jayda who quoted me for my tires and even took the time out in showing me just the kind of tires I'll be purchasing. Her customer service is exceptional. Instead of taking advantage of my lack of knowledge and selling me expensive tires, Jayda treated me as if I were a friend. She was very informative and detailed in educating me about my car tires. Their lounge is comfortable and well a/c'd. They have self serve coffee and a bunch of snack vending machines outside the lounge for you to enjoy. I brought my car in around 7:30am and was out of there by 8:15am on a Saturday! Not even Costco could crank out work in that amount of time. After my tires were done, I was sure to give Jayda a big hug for her time and effort in helping me. All in all, my experience at Lex Brodies has changed my faith in car auto shops. People ike Jayda honestly do look out for your best interest and above all, treat you like a best friend rather than just another number. So if you're looking for quality service that is affordable for your car, I highly recommend you visiting Lex Brodies on Queen Street.

After AAA changed my flat tire we headed over to Lex Brodie .... Mike Rizzo greeted us and after he checked everything out he said he would be in contact regarding some of the issues they were going to check ... he called us within the half hour and I gave him the okay to do all the service we needed - he was nice enough to give us the applicable online coupon discounts, change my spare to a larger tire, and was patient enough to answer some questions I had regarding trading in my car and transmissions - he and Darshelle were AWESOME !! .... and my car was ready in less than two hours. Mahalo Lex Brodie for always taking care of us !!!

Yes, I got the old screw in the tire scenario while dropping off one kid to school. I made it over to Lex Brodie's with my four year old in route with me. The initial guy told me it would be a short wait while they fixed it. I played with my 4 year old in an air conditioned room with a TV while we waited a very short time. A smiling lady told me our car was ready and that it was free to fix since I had bought my tires there. What started out as a very cruddy situation ended up great with very helpful, smily people! Thanks!

awwweeesoomme.. No complaints about this place. Took my ride in for an oil change. Not because I'm lazy, but because I'm too busy, and don't have the parts to do it myself. Or maybe the busy is just an excuse for the laziness. Either way, service was great, dropped it off and got a call back a few hours later telling me it was ready for pick up. When i picked it up the cashier also notified me that my air filter could be cleaned, and explained how they did other free diagnostic tests which would be beneficial to me in the future to know of anything that i might need to have serviced or repaired. I think most other places would charge a fee for this type of thing. Great prices! THANKS for the service lex brodies! Hopefully i wont have to pay you a visit anytime soon, but your my new go to car service and repair shop!

Ick don't get your safety check here. I waited over an hour and a half for them to tell me to change two tires. I also had an appointment to change my tires and told them that, but no deals. Bleh. No tags. 2 hours of my time wasted. It's still $15 like other places that will do it in 15 min. or less! Granted, yes one of the tires (I was told at Firestone -- they are genuinely nice here) needed to be changed and the other they recommended be changed soon. I also waited in the waiting area for a bit and other customers looked like they were waiting for a long time and some looked disgruntled getting up every 15 min to check with a worker. I was told someone would get me when it was done, but when I saw my car out on the lot, I went to ask someone if it was done. They said YES. So I wonder how long I would have waited if I wasn't watching! I ate the bucks at LB's and went to Firestone (See my happier review there) to get two tires and a saftey. They were much friendlier there and more honest. Lex Brodie's: your 1+ hour "more comprehensive" (as I was told) safety check takes too long. I agree one tire was worn, but I would have rather been told in the first 5 min. like it would be at another station.

Do NOT get your car inspected here! Lex Brodies is no different than every back alley screw you shop on the island. Most of the 5 star reviews must be by Lex Brodie employees cuz this place SUCKS. Brought my car in for a standard inspection --- right off the bat they tell me my tire tread is bad and I will need new tires --- except that I bought new tires just a month before this inspection - total SCAM! So everything passed - time to leave right? Nope guy comes out to put my sticker on and says that my rear windows are too dark and that I ether need to strip them or install new tint. Ya sure ill just drop $400 in new tint no problem. So take it downt the road to T &T and they say my tint is fine. Take it back to Lex Brodie and they say it is too dark just by looking at it. So I told the guy that i will get my car inspected somewhere else and eat the $15. First gas station I hit - passed - no problem. LB is in bed with T&T and probably many other businesses on their street. They will try to get every last cent of your cash - STAY AWAY.

No one is perfect, and neither was my first experience at LB's. But I still give this place 5-stars for their diligence in making things right. I brought my car in for a basic oil change. Unfortunately, the mechanics had somehow missed my car and the oil change was never completed. The manager promptly offered to do it within 30 mins, but I had to leave for work. I later sent an email via the LB website and received an apology directly from LB's President, Scott Williams. They quickly rescheduled my car for a complimentary oil change and cleaned the interior of my car. Mike Rizzo, manager, was very accomodating. LB's found that my tires and alignment needed to be fixed and provided me a discount for the service. They even offer complimentary car rental if the car needs to stay overnight. So awesome! Scott Williams and the LB's staff went above and beyond to help make things better. I always visit LB's instead of going to my car dealership. Great service and the prices are reasonable even without the discount. I highly recommend this place!

I was very satisfied with the tire service here. The cheaper tire was not in stock so I waited in their comfortable waiting room for the delivery from across town.

It's $50 for a regular oil change here and much more than what I fork out at Flagship. The only reason why I'm here is because I got a Groupon deal and wanted to check out a new place in town. I set a same day appointment and by the time I arrived, the oil change was done within the hour. It allowed me to take a short walk to Ward center and enjoy a quick shopping spree. Once they handed over the vehicle, they did not tell me what was inspected or what was topped off. I guess they were busy and just wanted to get vehicles in and out. I enjoy the customer service at Flagship much better than here. Even with the deal, we had to fork over an extra $5 because it was an SUV and required an extra half quart of oil. I still gave it 4 stars because my vehicle runs the same after my oil change. I was a bit annoyed when I arrived because I actually had to whine a bit about my appointment so they let me cut in line. My customer service advise is, don't take appointments if you can't honor them. Yelp Challenge #19/365
