THERE WHEN YOU NEED THEM! Yesterday morning, Sunday, I went out to start the car, turned the key and nothing... except rapid clicks... oh no! DEAD battery. Waited a bit, ensured AC, radio, etc. were in the off position.... pumped gas pedal once and tried once more, fingers crossed and thank God, the engine turned over and started. I had noticed over the last couple of days, it seemed the car had been a little slow to start; NOW I knew why. Unfortunately this was a Sunday when repair shops and my Enterprise car rental "back-up" are closed! I remembered that Lex Brodies's did my tires on a Sunday a while back... maybe, just maybe they do batteries too... ? Went to Lex's at Pearlridge and luckily for me they troubleshoot starting/charging systems as well as replace batteries on Sundays. I've used these guys for many years and found them to be trustworthy and reliable. I've never needed them in such a dire situation... it's great they was there when I really needed them... ON A SUNDAY!
