Vehicle safety check inspection

This was my first visit to any Lex Brodie's business, and I am very glad I finally went. The service rep, Vachelle, was so personable and made sure I got the best discount available on my service. The business is bustling and able to accommodate numerous cars at the same time, and their entire system runs like a well-oiled machine. No customer waits around for any great length of time, and all the reps I encountered were friendly and helpful. I'm going back the next time I need any of their services, and I also recommend it to others.

GOOD JOB GUYSSSSS

I went to Lex Brodies two weeks ago to purchase tires for my car. The person that helped me (Base) took down all the info and called the warehouse. After waiting a while he said that the warehouse had the tires but he wasn't sure. He was obviously frustrated with his phone conversation with the warehouse. He told me he would confirm that they had the tires and call me with a price. I waited a day and never received a call. I decided to call him and when he answered he nonchalantly said "I didn't forget, I'll call you when I have the information". It's been two weeks and he never called back. In the meantime I found the tires at the dealership for my car and I now have new tires. It's sad because I know how much care Lex had for this business. I have always held Lex Brodies at a higher level than other tire stores, and I always do my best to support local first, but sadly I think those days are in the past.

Very disappointed in the service. I drove there on Monday around 5:00 pm with a small punctured hole in my front left tire. The young lady that initially helped me was great! However, she asked for a 2nd opinion from a co worker. I was surprised he actually worked there because he totally ignored me when I drove up, he moved from the stall he was standing in next to where I parked and never ackhnowledged me. When she asked him about my tire he said ...you have a Subaru so you have to change all 4 tires. I told him my car is 16 months old and with 11,000 miles. He said we can't do anything unless you change all 4 tires. He neglected to look at the punctured tire, or the condition of all my tires. He said it was a Subaru requirement to change all 4 tires. The following morning I drove my car to Kaimuki Subaru. Subaru said it's a requirement for AWD vehicles, but it depends on the condition of the tires too. Subaru's Service Agent immediately checked out the threads on all 4 tires. He said that I wouldn't have to purchase 4 tires and just the 1 tire. After the mechanic looked at my tire he said that the puncture wasn't bad and was able to patch the tire. I'm glad I decided to take my car to Subaru! I will no longer use or recommend Lex Brodie Honolulu in Kaka'ako! CONSUMER BE AWARE!
