Asked my wife today to drop off my car to get my shocks and struts done, after being quoted three-hundred by Lex Brodie's for shocks today, I figured it was a good deal. The wife dropped me at work and drove my car to your shop, where the figures changed drastically. The woman told her my shocks weren't set to expire for another month, why not get some new tires. She offered my wife $100 off and a $70.00 rebate for a new set of BF Goodrich tires that I didn't need. I had great tread on two tires and enough on the other two to get by for a year or longer. I've had the truck since 2006, with 52k miles bought new tires for it at 30k. I feel my wife got conned and wasted her day off to not get what we needed, "SHOCKS!" STRUTS!...not TIRES! $A thousand dollars I was willing to pay for struts or shocks or both, even if it was only for two wheels. We asked for that. The woman who was speaking to my wife (I don't know who) pushed for the tires, which makes the ride quieter and smoother than my off road tires, but my shocks and struts are not so quiet and my tires were fine...for now.

Excellent. I came in to have a nail on one of my tires removed. And they were fast, friendly, and helpful. No appointment was set-up, yet they were able to help and accommodate me last minute. A well deserved 5 star rating. And for it to be given to an auto shop, means it's saying a whooooole lot. It's tough to find a good shop & one you can trust. I have been dealt some terrible service at a few of the local shops in Kaneohe, so I was hesitant when I decided to give Lex Brodie's a try. I am thrilled that I did. It seems that they ride on a great mission statement there because everyone greets you with a smile & seems pretty eager to help. They are highly skilled, very pleasant to work with, & are quick to get the job done. I had a nail in one of my tires and went to Lex Brodie's right away without an appointment. When they opened I was serviced right away. They also rotated my tires and checked my alignment which was still under warranty. Perfect timing. Great service and delivered on time. Much appreciated.

This was our first visit to Lex Brodie,s. We didn't know what to expect. Eddie P. Took care of us and listened to our concerns. He made a few suggestions, that we will definitely take care of at this Kakaako location. Our only problem was that we had a 4 1/2 hour wait. We will have to plan our next trip here a bit better, but otherwise the staff was very accommodating. I also love the fact that they have a customer lounge with free wifi, coffee, water and T.V.

Yesterday, as we were driving to Pearlridge Shopping Mall to meet with my husband's brother-in-law for lunch, we started to near a flapping noise. At first, we thought that it was just because we had been hitting the multiple potholes and dips in the roadway. Kamehameha Highway is being prepared for our State's light rail project and is so scarred with potholes and metal plates that cover construction areas. We pulled into Pearlridge and noticed that one of our tires was going flat and found that there was a large bolt imbedded it in. Luckily, Lex Brodie's Tire & Auto Service was just a block away. We quickly drove there and was cheerily greeted by Serina. She quickly looked us up in their database and found that we are established customers of theirs. I noticed that there was a 15% Yelp discount as I checked in and inquired whether or not it could be applied to tire repair...but, as it turned out, it didn't, uh, my bad, I didn't read the fine print. No problem, I was just thankful for Yelp's offer and I could save it for the next "rainy day". Serina gave us a repair quote and said that it would take a couple of hours to fix. She gave us an option of waiting in their air-conditioned waiting room (complete with snacks and television) or we could just browse Pearlridge Mall and return when called. We chose to leave as we were supposed to meet with our relative for lunch. Within an hour, we received a call from Serina who provided us with a work status and needed approval to proceed with additional services. She also provided another price and time quote. We were eating lunch so we weren't in a rush to get back. When we picked up our truck, Ferdinand assisted us with our payment, warranty information and informed us that our transaction was eligible for the Yelp discount. He even told us about their no cost Hawaiian Air mileage program. We used our Yelp discount to get a better deal with the purchase of new tires that were on sale through National promotion for this Memorial Day weekend, realignment and balancing. We are always impressed with the great customer service and efficiency of Lex Brodie's. Serina and Ferdinand were very friendly, helpful and trustworthy. All of their employees give you a sense of their committed concern for your safety and pocket book. #344
