I called for a quote on some cooling system work, the woman said she had to ask a mechanic for pricing. Also I wanted figures on replacing several cooling system parts. She called back and gave me an outrageous figure $400.00 for the job as it takes only one hour to do what I wanted done, with $12.00 in parts. Then tried to set me up saying I might need another part for the job that costs $258.00, I could buy it myself for $55.00. I know this because I watched a video online and saw how long it took. After getting the run around and outrageous prices from three shops, I did it myself in under an hour. Then I asked for the other figures I requested and she said she would call back and never did.

Well after almost 2 years of having my rotors/pads replaced, my SUV started having steering wheel shakes on downhill braking again, so I brought it to the Waipahu location where they confirmed my suspicions that the rotors were warped. Good thing I purchased the "Fixed Forever Brake Warranty" because they replaced all the Brake pads and rotors at no cost to me. A month before, I took my vehicle to the Lex Brodies in Honolulu and they said my brakes were fine, even though I thoroughly explained my problems- so I wont be going there anymore. The Waipahu location has better service and better mechanics. Even though the phones were ringing off the hook on a state holiday, Leimomi was very courteous and receptive to my questions. Thanks!

Good thing I purchased the fixed forever brake warranty a year and a half ago, because my 2007 Lexus RX350 had steering wheel shaking on downhill braking again. I brought my vehicle to the Waipahu store where very friendly service assistance were waiting for me and I didn't have an appointment on a State Holiday. They test drove my SUV and said confirmed my suspicions that the rotors were warped and said it was a free replacement under the fixed forever brake warranty. They replaced the Rotors and Brake pads and I didn't have to pay at all. Nice. Also, I would recommend not going to the Lex Brodies in town instead go to the one in Waipahu because I took my vehicle to the Honolulu location and they said my vehicle was fine even though I told them all my symptoms.

I made an appointment using the online tool, and Lex Brodies' staff completed the work in a reasonable time frame. There is such a peace of mind when you are able to do this according to your schedule.
