Best in honolulu

This place is awesome.... Great service and fast. I'm one of those people who know nothing about cars and this place is helpful. Decent prices and great service. I'm thankful my car light comes on to tell me your oil life is 15% wrench icon... or else i would never get my oil change! Haha. I know they put a sticker to tell you about the recommended miles and date you should get it. I trust my car light to tell me. If you didn't know my sticker says get oil change at 32,000 miles or 6/18/16... It's October and my light comes on... if I believed that date I would be spending too much right? I came here after my dessert buddy told I could just go here for a safety check and their cheaper than most places. I now come here for my oil change also. You have the option to call or make appointment online (first time appt online gets you a $10 off coupon) or you can come early and walk in. There's a waiting room or you can drop off and they will call you once it is done. There's a location closer to home but this one has kee places to walk to and back if you don't want to wait there.

The people were so friendly and helpful. The wait time was shorter than most even when o forgot to make an appt. GREAT!!!

Once again Lex Brodie's exhibited stellar performance and quality products when I got new tires for our car. I was gratified to learn that there was no charge for the wheel alignment I had requested because when they checked, the car's alignment was fine. So many places charge you just to put the car on a rack. Lex is the best. In the past I have made big mistakes by buying tires at a "discounted" price from the two big nationwide discounters in Honolulu. Then I would take the car to an independent alignment center. Number one, this turns out to be a big time waster. Number two, I realized that I was not saving any money. My advice, go to Lex the first time. they will take care of you and see that your car is safe.

Good service, good value

I took my wife's van in to have the tires check as the tire check light on the dash indicated a problem or low tire pressure. Upon arrival I was greeted and checked-in with little wait time, during the check-in process the salesperson explained they will check all the tires including the spare. A nail was found near the edge of the tire and could not be repaired. Before doing the repair they give you an estimated for the reduced cost of a new tire plus the cost for mounting and balancing. At that time I requested the brakes to be inspected as it makes sounds. Once the van was done and paying for the service I asked about my brakes and I was told they inspected the brake which the tire was remove for the repair and it looks fine and the rest of the brakes will be the same - disappointed. They gave me the keys for the van, once I got to the van i noticed that it was the wrong keys - okay it a mistake. Once I got home, I notice that the van's tire wrench was left where the spare tire is located (by the back seat) and the jack was left out. that's poor service - no that's bad service.

oil change, tire rotation and safety check. 8:30 am appointment. Finished at 11:30 am. Prior scheduled tire rotation took 4 (four) hours. The excuse he gave me was "short on man power, one guy cut off a part of his finger". Ok. I thought I'd give Lex another chance. To my disappointment I was treated to the same As last time. And to my amazement, he gave me the same excuse "short on man power, one guy cut off part of his finger." No more chances, I'm not going there no more. Count me out.

Prompt quick service and they didn't try to sell us more than we needed.
