I made appointment for 2:30pm, and showed up on-time. Was told that the safety check would take ~1 hour since they were busy, so we walked around for an hour. Then when we came back, they said it still wasn't ready. I totally understand that it's difficult to gauge when a car will be ready, but if there was a way for the system to text or give us a heads-up that they won't be done in an hour, that would've been helpful. We could've continued walking or shopping or gotten something to eat while waiting longer. (Similar to how airlines will now text/email when there are flight delays...) Otherwise, I loved making online appointments, and felt that the service performed as good.
