While driving home on the freeway, the sidewall of both my front and rear passenger tires on my 2009 Honda Odyssey had blown out. My van was towed to Lex Brodie's Tire Company on Queen Street to purchase two new tires. I was greeted promptly by my service advisor Mark. He looked my vehicle's service history in their computer system and found that I had just purchased four new tires along with their wheel alignment package about eight months prior. Mark told me that my purchase of two new tires were covered by the tire warranty and the wheel alignment was covered too. I chose to wait inside their customer waiting lounge until my repairs were done. A few minutes later, Mark returned and informed be that my car battery was low and asked if I wanted to purchase a new battery. I did not want to have my van stall out on me later so I decided to purchase a new battery. A few hours later, Mark returned to me. Mark explained that his mechanic Eric discovered other major problems with my van, including a loud screeching noise when starting my van caused by the alternator bearing. Upon further inspection, Eric found that my alternator was bad, my serpentine belt was misaligned off of the power steering pulley, the belt tensioner was worn and tilted off track, and the harmonic balancer rubber separated. I spent my whole day at Lex Brodie's and left there feeling valued as a customer. My service advisor Mark kept me informed every step of the way, even giving me the bad news. Thinking about my safety and the safety of my family members when driving or riding as passengers on my van, I trust in the excellent workmanship and attention that my van and I was given. This is the same professionalism, respect, and workmanship that I always receive when I come to Lex Brodie's. I made the right decision by choosing Lex Brodie's to get those engine issues fixed.
