DO NOT trust this place. I brought it in for a new alternator. They also told me I needed a new battery, which was strange because I just replaced the battery not too long ago. They assured me the battery was bad, so I put my trust in them to replace it. When I picked up my car, I asked for my old battery to return it to oreilly because it was still under warranty. Well come to find out, nothing was wrong with the battery. How sad during these bad economic times they rip people off. What a waste of time and money!
Aloha Mr. Greer and thank you for sharing your feedback. Did O’Reilly’s test the battery as “Good” after our test showed the battery to be replaced? (Please note: We only recommended batteries when our battery tester shows the battery should be replaced). Do you still have the old battery? If we test again and the test shows the battery is good, we can reinstall for you and then refund you for the battery (x 2). Please email us at [email protected] and send your invoice number and the O’Reilly test results. We can look at arranging our VP of Mechanical, Keith Kobayashi, to meet with you to retest the battery. Thank you very much for your time to share this additional information. Sincerely, Scott D Williams 34 Year Lex Brodie’s Team Member PS - Please note, batteries can be temperamental. Batteries that fluctuate can continue to fluctuate in the future.
