Just called to set an appointment to bring a newly purchased used car in to have it looked over and checked out. I was told by the gentleman that answered the phone that they "don't do that" and I should take it to the dealership! I called Lex Brodie's because I didn't want to pay a ridiculous amount of money to take it to the dealership for looking it over... Planned to have my other vehicles serviced here, but if they can't do a simple inspection then I guess I'm better off taking them somewhere else.

I had a great experience with everyone at Lex Brodies - from checking in to talking to service repair man. Every one was courteous and provided me with the information i needed to make a good decision. Barney explained all the differences with the tire selection and took the time to explain the advantages. I would definitely recommend Lex Bodies!

Came in on 4/19/16 to get 4 tires for my company van and the service writer told I would get a $70 rebate which had me sold on the michelins along with a commercial discount. At the creation of the work order I requested that the current R/R tire be put back to the spare location (because that was the original spare and the rim was rusting besides the tread wear life was like new since it was never used). When I picked up the van (nobody called me) and after paying for the job I was told that the rebate was invalid because it was a commercial vehicle. Strange... the service writer gave me a commercial discount at the beginning. Wouldn't she have known at the time? After driving away I figured I better check if they did what I requested on the work order to switch the R/R back to spare. And to my surprise it was not done. I drove back and told them what happened and no one apologized or offered to remedy the problem. I then requested to show me the the R/R tire and I would just take it with me because I didn't want to wait another two hours. When I found the tire I noticed the bead was all torn and the tire installer told me the tire was like that before due to age. I guess he figured I didn't have any knowledge about tires, I was an auto technician at Sears for 30 years and I knew the bead tore when they removed the tire from the rim. Again bringing me back to why I did not want the tire removed and switched back to the spare position and the spare be used for tire replacement. Today is 4/20/16 and when I went to to drive my van I noticed the R/R rim which is now on the L/F was totally flat. When I put air in it I could detect a leak at the valve stem. If the job was done right the first time I wouldn't be dealing with this issue. I'll be sure to warn every body in the future to be cautious of your business
