I took my car in for front tires and brake pads. The counter person said that the drums were ok for thickness but asked if I wanted them turned as she said it was slightly grooved. I said no, I just want the pads changed as I probably wont keep the car much longer. She said ok. I waited in the waiting room and 3.5 hours later (which is 15 minutes past closing) she hands me the bill and also said that there is a problem. I reviewed the bill and it said the following. .... A) the drums were turned. I asked I said specifically that I did not want the drums turned. Her reply was oh you would have been back because the brakes would have been squealing so we did it for you. WTF kind of answer is that? Then she tried to say that it is part of the normal service. If it was part of the normal service then why did you ask if I wanted it turned in the first place? B) I noticed that they hit me up for the (not sure what the actual name of the brake was) but it was the highest grade/price brake pads they had. I was never asked which brake pad I wanted. They just charged me for the highest pad they had. (again I am not keeping the car so why would I choose the highest pads they had) Then she said oh you have to come back. Come back? I just waited 3.5 hours now? Didnt you complete the job? She said they were putting on the new tires in the back and the old tires in the front. The mechanic broke one of the lug bolts and they didn't have a replacement lug bolt. I said I didnt ask for the new tires to go on the back so why did you do that? And now after spending time 3.5 hours in the waiting room you want me to come back another day and waste more of my time because you broke something on my car that I never asked for? After bickering for a bit they wouldn't even reduce the price on my bill even though they upsold me items that I did not want. That is the only and last time I ever get near a LEX BRODIE's again. Greedy greedy greedy place.

I’ve gotten to know the manager over the years and they continue to provide friendly, dependable service. I love the prices too, great value!!

Complaint was rattling noise.. replaced sway bar.. less noise but still noise

Tire losing pressure 2 days in a row. Arrived at Honolulu location around 6:30am on a Monday. Shop was opened & 2 customers ahead of me. Greeted with a smile from the gentleman manning the front. Told him my problem & left car. Received a call about 2 hours later flat had been fixed. Told young lady I would have to pick after work She said "no problem, we close at 6pm". Picked up car, no issues.

TERRIFIC JOB DONE ON MY FLAT TIRE IN THE ALLOTTED TIME.

I've been to this specific location not once, but two times now and have been helped by the same man both times (I would prefer not to use his name). He's not rude per se, just extremely condescending. He talked to me in a tone that really made me feel like he didn't care about helping me, but more about being right and making sure he got the last word in. I don't typically leave reviews, but I feel like this one is worth other people seeing. I was hoping for better service because of all the great reviews, but this individual employee has completely ruined my opinion of this location and I will not be going back. I will say, however, that I would be willing to try a different Lex Brodie's location because of all their great reviews, but I definitely will not be giving this location another shot.

I was serviced on Fri. 1/24/2020. Mandy fit me in the morning I ph'd. She was courteous , efficient & professional. It was the 40 pt. inspection & she told me the findings & provided an invoice. Freddie, the manager, is an excellent communicator & informed me he would email me photos of the inspection which I have viewed.
