On Saturday, 6/17/17 I called Lex Brodies if I needed to make an appt to come down for a safety inspection and was told I could come down without an appt. I arrived a little before 9:30am. When I was greeted (did not get his name), I told I'm here for safety inspection and went in line to check in. I informed the girl at the computer that I was hoping to have the inspection done asap because I had to take my mother to a 11am medical appt. I was told I was 4th in line and the wait time would be one hour to 1 1/2 hours. After 1 hour, a lady came in the waiting room to inform us that safety inspections will be delayed because the printer was down. I went outside and told the same guy that it was taking too long and I had to leave for my mother's doctor appt. He said "if you had told ME instead, maybe we could have made an accommodation for you." It should be Lex Brodie policy to inform customers that if they have a time constraint, it would be best to make an appt. To make a long story short, I was late for my mother's appt by 30 mins. Afterward, her appt. I went to the Chevron Station on the corner of Ward & Queen -- my car was inspected promptly and I was out in 10 minutes.
