Always prompt service whether tire rotation, tire replacement. Love the on-line appt. Works well

We've been taking our cars to Lex Brodie Waipahu for the past 4 years. Their staff are always friendly, honest and trustworthy. Last week, they accepted my car from the tow truck and it was fixed up smoothly. It's very convenient for me to make appointments online and that the shop is easy to access via TheBus for pickups and drop offs, plus they offer Uber credit. I dropped off My car at 9:30 AM for my appointment to replace with a new front tire. The local lady that has a first name that starts with a B but I won’t mention her name helped me and quoted me $275 for the tire plus mountain balance And delivery Which came out to about $300. So I left the Waipahu branch and I went home thinking that is an expensive price for one tire for a Nissan Sentra. So I did some research and the tire is supposed to cost about $175-$195 and so I called the lady back at Lex Brodie’s and told her if there’s anything she can do on the Price and she said that’s the price firm and the tire is coming from her warehouse. So I told her that I seen the tire online at other places costing about $175 and not $275. So I asked her if I could call around to find a cheaper price that she can buy it from and get it to Lex Brodie’s to put it on my car and she said yes. So I called the Nissan dealership and they told me the tire was only about $200 and not $275. So I called the lady at Lex Brodie’s and told her that I found a cheaper price and at that point she told me that she will be matching Sam’s Club tire price for me which is $175. I told her thank you and that’s great but in my mind I was thinking , Why didn’t the Lex Brodie’s lady just tell me that she can price match and give me the best price for the tire when I came in for my appointment to begin with, instead of trying to rip me off and overcharge me for the tire. Her original price was not even close to what the tire should have been. I can totally understand if the tire was $5 or $10 more than the Nissan dealership or Sam’s Club price but her price was about $100 higher for the one tire. My recommendation to everyone is to do your research on prices and don’t let these type of people overcharge you and rip you off.

Amazing!!!!! I had an appointment at 9AM sat in the lobby for 3 1/2 hours and they hadn’t done anything. In my experience it doesn’t take maybe but 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. If you make an appointment just plan on waiting. It’s funny to see all these 5 star reviews. I saw that they had a promotional in the lobby that if you leave a 5 star review on Yelp or the Hawaii BBB that they’d buy you lunch 😂.
