I had a slow leaking tire and made an appointment to replace the tire. I heard you have to buy two new tires (even if you only need one) so that the tires opposite each other wear evenly. Since I thought that could be true, I also scheduled an alignment for the 2 new tires. The customer service person who helped me inspected my "bad" tire said it was in good shape and I may only need to have a leak repaired instead of replacing the tire. He didn't try to sell me one tire, let alone two. He said he would inspect the tire and my alignment to see if it was needed. When I picked the car up, LB had repaired the leak, checked the alignment and told me it was fine -- all for $0. I don't know if this was because I purchased my tires from them originally, but that was never brought up. Everyone who helped me, the two customer service people when I dropped the car off and picked it up and the cashier, were very friendly and helpful. I also like that everything was automated so that I made my appointment online for the services I thought I would need, then received reminders of my appointment and, following service, a copy of my invoice, all via email. I bought my tires from LB because it is a long-time Hawaii company and I believe in supporting local businesses, but I have to say that the employees were also very professional and friendly in a local way, so I will continue to use LB and recommend them to my friends. Finally, you can fill your tires with air (which I was doing for a couple of months before I fixed the tire) and people will assist you without even asking if you're an LB customer. It's just good business and was very much appreciated.
