I called around 7:30 on a Tues, wanting to make an appointment for my truck running rough and stalling. Was told to bring it in now as it was early yet. Got there about 8, and dropped it off, telling them it felt to me like a fuel problem, meaning likely a filter or fuel pump problem. 6 pm, after leaving a couple messages, it hadn't even been looked at yet. Asked to plse do 1st thing in the am, and LMK. Finally heard around 10:30 that analyzer indicated low fuel pressure (like I'd said), and they recommended replace fuel filter (around $100), AND fuel pump (around $1,200). The truck is 20 y/o with high mileage and cosmetic issues (not LB's fault), making $1500 in repairs hardly worth it. I said just the filter because it's possible (but not likely) that's all it was, and this was done around 2:30 p. Repair-wise I have no problem, but it seems everything could have been done MUCH faster than having truck just sit with no action for an entire day.
