An estimated waiting time of 1 1/2 to 2 hours turned into a waiting time of 4 hours. An estimated cost of $70 turned into a bill of $281.77

Service good, they put tire back on when asked.

Called a week prior to set an appointment for a safety check. Spoke to a man named Kekoa who scheduled me for 0730 appt on Mon., 3/2/20. I arrived at 0700 only for Kekoa to tell me that my vehicle will be serviced at 1030. When I asked "what's the purpose of having an appt if the wait is going to be 3 hours"? Kekoa responded that my appt time just means I will get service after cars that have an appt before me. It's 0715, I looked around and I'm the only one there beside another customer who's there for repair services. Knowing that this was my best chance at getting my car's safety check done today, I accepted the situation and caught the bus home (to Makakilo) to care for my elderly mother. It took two buses and an hour to get home. I caught a ride back to Lex Brodie and arrived at 1130. Kekoa said my car will be serviced after he finishes up another car. It's now 4 hours since my appt time!!!! Kekoa finally completed my car at 1230...... a TOTAL OF 5 HOURS!!!!!! A huge disappointment that Kekoa didn't think of informing me during scheduling of my appt that the wait would be this long. Again, what's the point of scheduling an appt that Lex Brodie can't keep??? Had I known, I would have opted to go somewhere else and at another day and time. Kekoa and other staff's attitude was good but that doesn't compensate for the wait. I will never go back nor will I recommend LB to anyone. Advice..... be honest with wait times!!!!!

Been a long-time customer. I always go to Lex Brodie for routine maintenance, tires, and safety checks. Usually excellent service and friendly staff.

Was happily surprised and grateful that they repaired a nail in my tire for free. Did not realize it was a perk of having purchased my tires from them. Woo Hoo!

Well my feelings about Lex Brodies just changed overnight. I went in for a tire rotation and an alignment, which was offered for free since the tires were purchased there. But what really is appalling is that I came home noticing that my tires weren't even rotated! How did I know this? Well I had paint over spray on one of them and it was in the same left front position as it was before the rotation! All I can say is wow... I mean I wouldn't be as mad since they offered the service for free, but does free mean don't do? I wasted a whole day taking the car in, waiting for it, picking it up, then having to rotate the tires myself when I got home. Time is money and I just wasted a whole lot of that. I'm lucky that I notice these kind of things and able to do these services myself (which I'll be doing from now on), but what about all the other non-DIY's out there? There's hidden camera shows about this kind of stuff that goes on in the industry and I'm sad that it's going on at this establishment, where it prides on its customer service for years. I hope that they're not doing this to have customer's tires wear down faster so tire sales go up, cause that is just SHADY! Maybe I caught one mechanic on its bad day or something, but this will definitely ruin a business' reputation if they do this on a regular basis.
