Honolulu, HI
Alright this is an updated review for my experience this past week at Lex Brodies. I was really hoping to have a positive experience for my 3rd trip into Lex Brodies Honolulu, but unfortunately this is not the case. Problem: pulsating brakes/vibrating steering wheel problems whenever stepping on the brakes at high speed or downhill. So I made an appointment for Monday at 7am and also scheduled an oil change/tire rotation/alignment. I replaced my rotors and brake pads 18 months ago at Lex Brodies (Waipahu) and purchased the "fixed forever brake package" so obviously I should take it back for service. So I drop off the vehicle and the salesperson was very nice and asked when I would like to pick it up- I said 2pm is fine. Anyways 3pm rolls around so I call asking for a status and they say it is still being worked on. The vehicle is finally ready at 430pm but for the brake problem, it turns out all they did was drive it for a little while and "measure" the pads/rotors so the mechanic said it was fine. Vehicle is finally ready at 5 pm but before I leave I notice all the grease marks all over the rims and then a fairly deep scratch on the front bumper. I know what scratches are on my car, and that scratch wasn't there, but unfortunately, no pre-inspection was done to document the car condition so I have no justification to argue the point. So to summarize it all up, I dropped off the car at 7am, released to me at 5pm all for an Oil change/rotation/alignment and greasy rims plus scratched bumper and my brake problem is still there- not happy. I didn't receive a detailed printout of my alignment measurements so I'm suspicious that it was not accomplished. I'm thinking that my rotors are probably warped because of poor wheel installation when these guys (Lex Brodies Honolulu) rotated my wheels a few months ago (see previous review). So I will try to go to the Waipahu Lex Brodies and see if I can get better service since I did purchase the "Fixed forever Brake package" and want to make use of it.
