We have been going to Lex Brodie's in Kaneohe for a long time and appreciate their professionalism. Just recently, I was scheduled to get a safety check for my car but the State's system was down so Lex Brodie's couldn't do the safety check as originally scheduled. They quickly rescheduled when the system was back up, did my safety check, and even didn't even charge for it because of the inconvenience of the rescheduling. Whether they charged or not, their service was top notch, as usual.

I've had some minor maintenance things done here and have always had a good experience. Fast and good work. Today Sammie helped us out and he really went above and beyond even giving us his own personal tire key to use when we didn't have one! Really appreciate his help!

I punctured the sidewall of my tire from a pothole so I went to Lex Brodie's to get it fixed as a walk in. Initial customer service was great and they said it would take 2.5 hours for one tire so I guess it must have been busy. When no one called after the first 3 hours, I called to check if they had an updated estimated time and I'm assuming one of the shop guys picked up and said they were unable to find my car under my name. The employee then said they weren't sure if the car was even there. Oh, okay. After checking again, the employee said they needed my license plate to find my car, which I didn't have on hand since all my car documents are inside my car. At their shop. They eventually found it but said because "no one was assigned to the car", they hadn't started yet. Hardly an apology I guess, but okay. They said they needed an hour to finish the job and they did finish after another hour. It's probable that if I didn't follow up with them, they may have never even touched my vehicle today but the car got its tire replaced so I guess I got what I paid for. Came to pick up the car and there no mention of the car being in limbo or further explanation of what happened. I paid and got my keys, I came back to my car and the dirty (muddy) paper floor mat, used plastic steering wheel cover and used plastic sheet seat cover were still on inside the car. Normally I wouldn't care about small stuff like that but considering it's covid season, it made me feel a little different. Another employee saw me taking the plastics off and offered to throw it away for me so I appreciated that. So yeah, three stars for effort and customer service? If I can help it I'll try another shop next time.

Had an appointment for 9:30 and it took almost two hours to get my car back. Changing oil should only take about an hour at the most. I use to change my own oil (even in a warm engine) and it never took that long.

A remarkable and unexpected experience that really touched my heart. I live in Tantalus, and at about 5:15 pm I realized I had a nail in my tire, slowly leaking air. I looked up the closest tire repair shop that was still open, and prayed that I could make it down before they closed. I arrived just before 6pm, and Marcello greated me with warmth and care. He jumped right in and patched up my tire for me faster than I thought was possible. And then he smiled and said that the service was free. Wow. This was an unbelievable act of kindness and generosity. The spirit of aloha is truly alive here, and in Marcello. I was actually left speechless. Thank you, thank you so much for your care and your help. I will make sure to come back for all of my repairs, and recommend you to anyone who asks. This was the most remarkable customer service I have ever received. Mahalo Marcello!
