Jack and the girls at the front took really good care of me and my mom. They are professional and probably one of the most honest mechanic shops I have been to. You can tell they really want to make their customers happy and give them the most fair price they can. Jack and the sales girl I talked to broke down all the costs before starting the work so I knew exactly what we were paying for. Great staff, patient, kind, and honest. This place treats you like family and wants you to leave happy. This is why Aiea is the best community on the island and will always be home.

I recently went to Lex Brodies to get a state inspection. I had a problem because they would not accept my paper proof of insurance (which came from State Farm). I think that policy is unfair because I cannot get State Farm to send me an actual plastic proof of insurance card. All they will send me are pdf or a printout on paper. But that is certainly not the fault of the staff. There were 3 team members that assisted me with getting the app on my phone which was complicated because I did not have my login info with me. Unfortunately I only remember one of the names, which was Momi or somthing similar. They were all super nice and helpful. That said, I don't think I should be forced to show people my phone in order to get my car serviced. I strongly urge Lex Brodies to change their policy and accept the paper proof-of-insurance provided by the insurance company. I understand that some people might fake it but since it is what the insurance company provides that is what they should accept. Insisting that I provide access to my phone is not the right solution.

SAMSON at Lex Brodie Aiea is AMAZING, CUSTOMER FOCUSED and PROFESSIONAL!!! I would be remiss if I did not stop to take the time to write a review that I should have completed in November 2022. I apologize for waiting so long to write this review until now. I came by Lex Brodie Aiea late at the end of the work day with a 3 inch nail angled in a weird way in my tire. I had just got off work and noticed the nail and was flabbergasted because I was not sure how the nail ended up in my tire from where I was legally parked on the military installation where I work. I was very tired when I got off work and was not expecting to be faced with a nail sticking out of my tire. It was weird because the tire was not yet flat and a military Captain passing by saw the tire and advised me not to remove it and to drive slowly to the nearest tire repair shop. I first stopped at a well known tire shop right outside the base with no success as they stated the tire could not be repaired and that they had multiple cars ahead of me and would not be able to replace it that late afternoon. I prayed and Almighty God placed it on my heart to go to Lex Brodie. It was already after 4:30 pm but I trust Almighty God, called the Lex Brodie Aiea to let them know I was headed that way and the Receptionist over the phone was very responsive, pleasant and told me to come on by. I arrived thinking that because it was the end of the work day, my car would have to stay overnight to access and hopefully repair the tire. Almighty God blessed me with Samson as he smiled and said he would like to first see the tire and provided advisement on costs should the tire need to be replaced or repaired. After speaking with me Samson asked me to have a seat in the waiting area and about 15 minutes later, he called me over to the counter and said he was done and the tire was fine and did not need to be repaired or replaced! I was like what??? He stated there was not damage to the tire and no repairs or replacement necessary. I looked at Samson and the Receptionist and said, "Almighty God is so good to me!!! This is a miracle!!! Thank You, Jesus!!! Almighty God is so good to me!!! Samson, Thank you, so much for your assistance!" I then asked if I could leave a Tip to bless him and the Receptionist or if I could speak with the supervisor to tell him or her of my appreciation for the service and Samson just smiled and said it was fine and that he was glad to help. The Receptionist stated that monetary tips were not accepted but that I could leave a review on Yelp and that the supervisor would see it and usually buys a plate lunch for the employee being recognized. I thanked her and stated I would write a review. Again, I apologize for my tardiness in leaving the review. One of my nieces shared with me not long ago that Yelp reviews are very important to the company and/or their employee(s) being recognized as well as to future, potential customers. My niece encouraged me to share my experience. Late Post: Last week I went to Lex Brodie's just to have my tires check for air pressure. The tire area was busy when I stopped by. Leimomi V. from the front desk came out to the rescue. She made sure all my tires had the right amount of air. Thank you Leimomi V. for your service and getting me out of the area promptly! Thank you Lex Brodie's for having your employees cross trained in some areas. It paid off since Leimomi V. got me out of there promptly, otherwise I had to wait around until someone is free to help me.
